Bronze Arts Award

Following a visit from the Arts Award moderator on Thursday 5th October, we are delighted to say that all 49 students who entered, achieved success in qualifying for their Young Person's Bronze Arts Award.

The students, who undertook the nationally accredited award developed skills in a variety of areas including photography, design, drama, art, dance and music.

This year’s cohort worked differently to previous years, completing the award in 4 collapsed timetable days. The year 7 students, who opted to participate, embraced the Arts Award fully. They put in a lot of effort outside the four days to attend their chosen clubs, watch a live performance they could review and create their wonderful collages on their chosen arts practitioner.

One of the most enlightening parts of the award was seeing the students lead their own arts sessions to pass on their skills to others.

Another very successful year for our Arts Award students. Well done!
